About Us4 4 Bar D Kennels is a family owned and operated business located in beautiful South Central Oklahoma.
Our kennels began as a partnership with Mel Dietz and Scott Dietz.
Sadly, Mel passed away in August, 2006 and today the business continues on with Scott and Kathy.
Mel raised and bred many different kinds of dogs as a hobby for over forty years until the partnership began. Scott is a graduate of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in Columbia, SC. He has over 18 years of law enforcement and has been a K9 handler/trainer for over 15 years. He is a certified Master K9 Trainer and has grown up with several different breeds during his life. His interests and love of many breeds has helped make the kennel grow over the years.
Kathy received a BS degree in small business from the University of Stout in Wisconsin. Her family has been in K9 law enforcement for over 20 years and has been involved in breeding, raising and showing several different breeds of dogs. She also has over a 9 year history in therapy and rescue dogs.
The love and enjoyment that we share in our dogs has turned Dad's hobby into a business that we all love! We hope that the love of our dogs can be shared by you as you bring one of our puppies into your family as a life long companion.
We attend any and all dog oriented educational seminars to stay current on canine care. We also work very closely with our Veterinarian in keeping up with the most up-to-date vaccinations, dewormings and health protocols. We do everything in our power to insure that our dogs and puppies are healthy and happy.
Our puppies all come with a written health guarantee, health records indicating all current vaccinations and dewormings , micro chip and a Puppy Packet.
Our puppies and adult dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the United Kennel Club (UKC) and the FCI Hungarian and Belgian Kennel Clubs.
We are inspected by the state of Oklahoma, License # 336 and inspected by The American Kennel Club. Our family goal in this business is to match the perfect family to the perfect puppy.
The sale of one of our puppies does not end when the puppy goes home to your family. We are always an email, text or call away to answer any questions and to share any happy moments you have with your puppy.
We highly recommend that you spay or neuter your puppy at the appropriate time to ensure you and your puppy of many happy, healthy years of companionship to come.
